An Ongoing Destruction:Refugee Women project continues at full speed

In the first activity of the fourth day of our project, our participants completed their preparations for the social awareness work and dissemination activity. Participants prepared a brochure and a poster. The content of the brochure included excerpts from the interviews with refugee women during the refugee camp visit. It included information about the topic, aim and objectives of our project. At the same time, the brochure included information about "What is Erasmus Plus? What are its objectives and priorities? Who can benefit from these programs?" were also answered.

During these preparations, our participants acted in cooperation and solidarity. our first activity was organized by the austrian leader. then in our other activity, which was connected to our other first activity, our participants were divided into three groups in accordance with gender equality.

One group gave information about Erasmus Plus, one group dressed as refugees and stood on the street with a cardboard saying "I need you to hug me", another group pretended not to recognize the participants dressed as refugees as if they were local people. Through this awareness raising activity, our participants learned about the attitude of local people towards refugees and tried to influence them to overcome their prejudices. in this part of the activity, the Latvian group leader led the organization. then a warm-up activity was organized before moving on to the next activity.

They created a magazine by evaluating the information they obtained from the interview activity with refugee women. This magazine included information obtained from the interview such as what refugee women wear, what they eat, what they do, what kind of difficulties they experience. Our participants were divided into two groups while doing this work. The first group compiled the interviews and the other group prepared the photographs.

Then the magazine was sent to be printed by the Austrian leader. Afterwards, the Romanian group was the group of today's cultural night, which is held every day. In this activity our participants talked about Romanian food, music and dance. After this talk, the participants tasted the famous dishes of Romanian cuisine accompanied by traditional music at dinner and had a pleasant time.

After the last activity of the day, Youtpass preparation and evaluation of the day, the day ended with the leader meeting.
