Our third day started with a very impressive and diverse range of activities. In the first workshop we organized, participants expressed the concepts of "violence", "xenophobia" and "racism" through sculptural figures. In this activity, the participants were divided into 6 groups of 8 people according to the numbers they chose from the bag. Each group then thought about a day when they felt xenophobia or racism and staged these experiences using gestures, expressions and poses. The created scenes were presented in an impressive performance for all participants.
Our second activity, "Their World", divided the participants into 6 different groups of 8 people (Group 1: Blue, Group 2: Yellow, Group 3: Green, Group 4: Orange, Group 5: Purple and Group 6: Black). Each group watched a refugee-oriented video based on the positive, negative and neutral papers they selected from a box. After the video, each group created their own scenario and acted it out in their performance.
Another highlight of the day was taking the participants on a tour of places that shed light on Vienna's rich history and a church tour that gave the participants the opportunity to learn about different cultures and histories.
Finally, at the end of the day, we met with the participants to reflect on the day. This reflection provided an opportunity to share the experiences, learnings and emotions they felt on the third day of our project. This intense and meaningful day allowed the participants to get closer to each other and dive deeper into the topics.
