I am a partner in the project: Celebrate the Diversity!

"Celebrate the Diversity" project with reference number 2023-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000121007 has been successfully completed. In order to contribute to the project, we sent participants to Madrid, the capital of Spain, between 24.01.2024-01.02.2024. There were participants from 6 countries in total in the project.

The main focus of the project was to address the issue of discrimination faced by Roma, a large ethnic minority of around six million people living in the EU. The project is based on the idea that discrimination against Roma is a serious human rights issue. The Roma, a very unique and colorful community in Spain, commonly known as gypsies, were the main theme of the project. The problem of discrimination was addressed by emphasizing that Roma migrated to Europe from India in the 10th century and have long been subjected to persecution around the world.

During the project, various activities were organized in a very pleasant atmosphere. These activities included warm-up games, orientations to get to know the environment, a speech therapy activity, a banner activity for dissemination and cultural nights every day.

These activities not only entertained but also provided information about Erasmus Plus and Youthpass. The project managed not only to entertain the participants, but also to raise awareness and effectively adopt the project topic.

If we talk about our personal experience, we welcomed the project in a very positive way and in this process we had a pleasant time and learned the right information in an effective way. You can find the details of the project on the erasmus results platform.
